Laubstar Supports Lichtenburg Community at Business Breakfast Initiative

Laubstar Fleet Services proudly joined farmers, business leaders, and community members at the recent Lichtenburg Business Breakfast, an inspiring event dedicated to supporting local development and education.

Hosted at Du Preez Prag outside Lichtenburg on Thursday, 25 September 2025, the initiative was led by the Grade 7 student council of CVO Skool Lichtenburg, with the goal of raising funds to uplift the town and strengthen ties between the agricultural and business sectors.

The event drew over 200 guests, including prominent local entrepreneurs and farmers. Guest speaker economist Dawie Roodt shared valuable insights on the current economic climate and its impact on agriculture and small businesses.

“Laubstar Fleet Services is built on strong relationships with the communities we serve,” said the Laubstar team. “Events like this showcase the power of collaboration between business, education, and agriculture — the very foundations of growth in towns like Lichtenburg.”

The breakfast was made possible through the generous support of local sponsors including Noordwes Damme, North West Lubricants, Bayer/Dekalb, Lichtenburg Toyota, Agrico, NWK, and Laubstar Fleet Services.

As a trusted supplier of FAW Trucks, Iveco, Powerstar, and UD Tucks, and a provider of after-sales support, parts, and service across the North West and Northern Cape, Laubstar remains committed to driving progress not only through transport solutions, but also through meaningful community involvement.

“Education and agriculture form the backbone of our region,” said Jaco van der Westhuizen from Bayer during the event. “Through leadership and unity, we can rebuild and strengthen our communities.”

Laubstar extends its congratulations to CVO Skool Lichtenburg for their leadership in organising such a successful initiative and looks forward to supporting future community-driven projects in the area.
