Job Title: Service Advisor / Warranty Administrator
Department: Service and Workshop
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain customer relations and ensure excellent customer service.
- Good industry knowledge with a strong focus on continuous development
- Processing of Job Cards
- Issuing and processing of quotations
- Building a trust relationship with customers by putting their businesses first.
- Obtaining authorisation for quoted repairs/services
- Client liaison
- Consulting with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs
- Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections & potential cost savings.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Service Advisor/Warranty Administrator or similar role
- A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry
- Proficiency with industry-specific software
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise
- Strong organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Minimum three years’ experience in commercial vehicle sales
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Service and/or Warranty Advisor.
- Grade 12 qualification as a minimum
