FAW Service Advisor / Warranty Administrator

Laubstar Fleet Services Group - Service department in Lichtenburg

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain customer relations and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Good industry knowledge with a strong focus on continuous development
  • Processing of Job Cards
  • Issuing and processing of quotations
  • Building a trust relationship with customers by putting their businesses first.
  • Obtaining authorisation for quoted repairs/services
  • Client liaison
  • Consulting with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs
  • Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections & potential cost savings.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Service Advisor/Warranty Administrator or similar role
  • A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum three years’ experience in commercial vehicle sales
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Service and/or Warranty Advisor.
  • Grade 12 qualification as a minimum
