Laubstar Fleet Services has an opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Must be competent in vehicle maintenance and service.
• Do fault diagnosis and repairs on various vehicle systems and components.
• Remove, asses, repair & replace engines, and differentials.
• Test, diagnose & repair airbrake systems and suspension components.
• Remove, assess repair, and replace transmissions and clutch systems.
• Diagnose, remove, assess, repair, replace diesel fuel systems and components.
• Diagnose, assess, repair cooling systems and components.
• Diagnose, assess, remove, replace turbo charger system and components.
• Diagnose hydraulic systems components, assess, repair and replace.
• Must be competent in hydraulic system fitments and key component rebuilds.

Requirements: 

• A recognized Diesel Mechanic qualification is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
• Exposure in a UD Truck Workshop will be an added advantage.
• Accurate working ability with high attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to work in a systematic manner.
• Driver's licence (including a Code 14 and PDP) is a prerequisite.
• Must be prepared to do rotational standby duties.
